Fire Alarm Systems

PWS-Bilder/content-brandmeldeanlagen1.jpg

Fire alarm systems - Reliable protection for people and buildings

Fire alarm systems are a central component of modern fire protection concepts and in many cases a legal requirement for commercial, industrial and public buildings.

They are not only used for early fire detection, but also to raise the alarm quickly and reliably in order to protect human life and minimise property damage.

Maximum safety through professional fire alarm technology

Our fire alarm systems detect fires at an early stage and reliably raise the alarm using audible and visual signalling devices. This enables rapid evacuation and minimises the damage caused by fire.

✔ Early detection of fires using the latest sensor technology

✔ Reliable alarm signalling via sirens, flashing lights or voice alarms

✔ Interfaces to the fire brigade for direct forwarding of alarms

✔ Integration into existing security systems for comprehensive protection

✔ Customised solutions based on individual fire protection concepts

Fire alarm control panels

Fire alarm control panels from both Esser by Honewell and Notifier by Honeywell are used worldwide and are recognised as premium products. They can be used to realise BM systems of any size. The type of control panel to be used in each case is determined by the specific requirements in conjunction with the resulting planning.

/Portals/0/PWS-Bilder/brand-02.jpg

Point-type detectors

Each type of detector has its strengths and weaknesses and must be matched to the specific application accordingly. Depending on requirements, the following are used: optical smoke detectors, thermal detectors, multi-criteria detectors.

/Portals/0/PWS-Bilder/brand-03.jpg

DKM

Manual call points are used to manually trigger a fire alarm. They are triggered by breaking a thin layer of glass on the detector and then pressing the trigger button.

/Portals/0/PWS-Bilder/brand-04.jpg

Special detectors

Special detectors include flame detectors, ventilation duct detectors, linear heat detectors, linear smoke detectors and smoke aspirating systems. They are used where no conventional fire detector can be used. For example, in ventilation ducts, suspended ceilings, roof domes or in similarly angled areas.

/Portals/0/PWS-Bilder/brand-05.jpg

Alarm

Visual and audible alarms are used on site for local alarm signalling. Independently of this, an alarm or fault message can be realised as required via the public telephone network by using transmission devices. Special transmission measures must be taken into account for enquiries that are connected directly to the fire brigade.

/Portals/0/PWS-Bilder/brand-06.jpg

Fire brigade info & operating system

The fire brigade info & operating system is a universal operating system required by most fire brigades, with an integrated fire brigade control panel, fire brigade display panel and run card depot. By using the FIBS, operation is identical for all fire brigade brands.

/Portals/0/PWS-Bilder/brand-07.jpg

Fire brigade key depot

In the event of a fire, the fire brigade key depot (FSD, formerly FSK) provides the fire brigade with rapid, non-violent and controlled access to buildings and premises. The FSD is usually used in conjunction with an additional release element (FSE).

/Portals/0/PWS-Bilder/brand-08.jpg

Fire brigade route maps

Route maps are used to quickly locate the triggered detector or the location of the fire. Route maps must be created in accordance with DIN 14675 with symbols in accordance with DIN 14034 and in consultation with the responsible fire brigade.
